Canoe Lake

Canoe Lake is a boating lake on Southsea's eastern seafront, popular with families for pedalo hire and model boat sailing. The lake is surrounded by gardens, a putting green, a children's play area, and the Rose Garden. Cumberland House Natural History Museum sits on the northern edge. The area has a relaxed, old-fashioned seaside character and is one of the most popular spots in Southsea for a weekend stroll. A small cafe operates near the lake. The Canoe Lake area also includes a model village and tennis courts, making it a natural gathering point for families.
