Southsea Rose Garden

The Rose Garden sits near Canoe Lake on the eastern seafront and contains a formal collection of rose beds, paths, and seating areas. The garden is maintained by the city council and is at its best in June and July when the roses are in full bloom. The setting, close to the seafront and Canoe Lake, makes the Rose Garden a popular spot for a quiet walk or a seat in the sun. The garden is free to enter and is one of several ornamental green spaces along the Southsea seafront that contribute to the area's seaside character.
