Eastney Road is the main commercial street in the Eastney area of Southsea, running east towards the former Royal Marines barracks. The road has a small parade of shops including convenience stores, takeaways, a newsagent, and a few independent businesses. Eastney Road serves the local community and has a neighbourhood feel that is distinct from the busier commercial streets in central Southsea. The road connects to Henderson Road and continues east towards Fort Cumberland and the entrance to Langstone Harbour. Several bus routes run along Eastney Road.
