Festing Road is one of the wide, tree-lined residential streets in the Kings Road area of Southsea. The houses are predominantly large Victorian and Edwardian properties, many three storeys tall, with bay windows and front gardens. The road runs south towards the seafront and Canoe Lake, and several houses at the southern end have sea views. Festing Road is popular with families and established professionals. A small Festing Grove park provides a pocket of green space. Property prices on the road reflect its desirability as one of Southsea's quieter, more spacious addresses.
